RESUMO
The research aims to recollect and study the term eidolon and its releated oneiros, skia, and phasma, such as comprehend the phenomenons that signifies, in the ambit of the ancient Greeks texts, placed between the period known as archaic and the time of tragedies, by selected passages of Homer, Hesiod, Aeschylus, Sophocles and Euripide. The task is to study the fundamentals of terms-phenomenons, reunited by the doubles psychological category, pertinent to the men of such epoch, following the path of permanences and modifications in the uses and meanings of such terms, since it will be elaborated by Philosophy, especially by Plato. In the course of Epic to Tragedy, that may be considered as a part of the path that will lead the men from the originary myth ambit to the thought and saying philosophic, we see figured a rich spectro, that, unless new and distinct, preserves and expresss its mitical heritage
