RESUMO

This thesis focuses discussing integrative practices on the Sistema Único de Saúde SUS (Brazilian Public Health) from the current integrity implementation. The integrity notion is in trouble due to the configuration knowledge and strategies applied on the health services and actions. From the point of view the health area follows hegemonic standards of discernment which make it impossible a clear talk for acting in services, is tried to concentrate in practices which prioritizes users on their demands of entire attention. The integrative practices are understand, on the context of this research, as knowledge and strategies which focus prevention of getting worse and the health reestablish, both on the internal SUS itself and people demand on professionals who take care of health in Mangueiras community located in ilha do Marajó, Salvaterra, Pará the place where the research was performed. The ethnographic approach of the problem, based on the critical social psychology, participant observe was used as well as interviews, academic production review and official documents on integrity in order to originate the scenery of the research analysis. There have been observed a multiplicity of actions on health in Mangueiras, encouraged by people who willing offered their knowledge, and this way speed up the local service without a significant institutional support. On the other hand, the municipal health department (Secretaria Municipal de Saúde) appeals to many actions involving many sections and actors committed in completely grant people demand. Thus, the integral attention will be performed in isolate actions, not much influential, making it difficult the access and the solution on the user view. A more efficient talk is suggested between popular health practices and SUS, on the perspective of a complete attention to health, through many possible and planned ways that speed up the service and benefit the comprehension of the health/disease process, focusing the prevention and health aggravation overcoming.
