RESUMO

An inexpensive unit to record (in low speed) and playback the electrocardiogram (in low and high speed) is described. The unit is meant to be part of a system for Holter monitoring. Its circuits were tested independently and interconnected, having shown good results. With small alterations, the unit can be used in many other applications (such as electroencephalogram monitoring of epileptic patients), since several biological signals need to be recorded, for subsequent data analysis, during a long period of time, while the subject performs his or her routine daily activities
