RESUMO

This work focuses on the scenic performance in the Dancer-Researcher-Performer (DRP) method, being based on the study of the dance Unrestness Waltz. DRP is a method of creation and research in dance that develops from the mutual relations of three fundamental axis: The Body s Inventory; The Co-inhabiting with the Source; and The Structuring of the Character. This method envisages the artistic creation focusing the performer s corporeal identity, seen in the dynamic integration of its cultural, social, physiological and affective aspects. The dance performance Unrestness Waltz was created with the DRP method, with Larissa Turtelli as dancer-researcher-performer and Graziela Rodrigues as director. It is forty minutes long, and was conceived for open and/or "alternative" places, with free access for the audience. The objective of this research was to elucidate the main aspects of the dance performance created with the DRP method by making explicit the procedures accomplished in the phase of public presentation of the work, as well as by evidentiating specificities of the creation process of the scenic performance with this method s. The documents analyzed were: annotations by the performer and by the director during the creation process and presentations; video recordings of the creation process laboratories and of the presentations; and interviews made with the audience. These documents were analyzed with aims to evidentiate the development of the DRP process in this dance work, considering the presentations as still another phase of the process. This work concerns: the co-inhabiting with the source realized in the city centers of Campinas and São Paulo; the structuration of the character Dalva; the construction process of the dance script; the main characteristics of choreography in the DRP method; the transformations of the script and of the character in the presentation phase; the interactions of the performer s body with the audience and with the different spaces; the preparations of the body and of the space for the presentations; and aspects of the dance s production. At the end of the work reflections are made in which are evidentiated: the importance of the lived experience of presenting the dance to the performer s development in the DRP; the main characteristics of the scenic performance in this method; and the presence of the three axis of the DRP method in the phase of public presentation of the dance performance
