Scanline : um sistema para visualização de imagens foto-realistas

RESUMO
This work presents some techniques which can be associated to the Scanline-Zbuffer algorithm, improving realismo This system is a part of the ProSlm Project, under development by the Image Computing Group at DCA/FEE/UNICAMP. It aims at providing an environment for images synthesis and animation. Simplicity and speed of this algorithm led us to study the possible techniques that can be used with it to produce high quality images, without illcreasing its computational time too much. An overview of the knowll hidden-surface algorithms in the literature, maillly Scanline method is givell. Subsequently, techniques to simulate various light sources such as lamp, spot alld SUll; and other effects such as shading, transparency, shadow alld antialiasing are discussed. Some of these effects were implemented and the results obtained are presented
