RESUMO

The present research objectified to carry through a study of the Rubem Braga chronicle, being traced the recurrent poetical marks in his writing. To reach such objective, we raise the hypothesis of that the author, when using the singular mode element, gift in the Russian formalist critical, elaborates texts that provoke a estrangement in the reader, from the singularity of a focus look in the developed subjects (objects, beings and human beings experiences). In consequence, his writings present poetical traces, culminating in a chronicle poem-in-chat. The corpus of the work - "To the Respectable Public" (1934), "Old Things" (1957), "My Literary Glory" (1960), "Master Aurélio Between the Words" (1966), "It has Dove Soul" (1977), and "The Old Time Sounds " (1977) - was selected from the workmanship "200 Chosen Chronicles". The methodological procedure for the boarding of the selected texts is the analytical-comparative degree. The work is divided in four chapters. In the first one, the different concepts of the chronicle are boarded, as well as its origin and characteristics. In the second, we present Rubem Braga, giving has detached the excellent facts of his life and his involvement with the journalistic universe, besides retaking the chronicle concept, focus, now, the manifestations of the proper author on the question. Reflections of Brazilian writers on the sort also compose the picture of references presented. In the sequence, we carry through, in the third chapter, some theoretical reflections that assist in the boarding of the poetical traces presents in the texts. To test the hypothesis raised, we analyze, in the room chapter, the selected chronicles and identify the poetical marks that, gifts in the texts, become responsible for the transit that, in our interpretation, the chronicles of Rubem Braga carry through, dislocating itself from the journalistic one for the literary one. At last, in the final considerations, we register our conclusions, arriving at the evidence of that the key and revealer element of the poetical traces of this writing is the singular mode
