Revisão do genero Allamanda L. (Apocynaceae) no Brasil

RESUMO
A revision of the brasilian species of the genus Allamanda L. (Apocynaceae) was carried out. A total of 12 species were recognized. Morphological characters were analysed (for each species) and its distribution plotted. A key for identification of the species is also provided, along with descriptions and illustrations. The nomenclature of the group was revised and various nomenclatural difficulties have been resolved. Some species show a high degree of polymorphism, for example, flowers of different sizes, and sometimes shapes, occur within the same species. In these cases , it is suggested that a cytological and genetic investigations may resolve some of these difficulties
