RESUMO

To answer the present is metrological requirements a metrological laboratory shall assure that the measurements are performed accórding to the intended accuracy, in case this laboratory want to be recognized competent to carry out specific calibrations or tests. The goal of this work is to report the requirements for application and evaluation of metrological traceability in metrology laboratory and through these requirements to evaluate the metrological confirmation of a metrology laboratory belonging to RBC (Rede Brasileira de Calibração) to the gauge blocks calibration. In this sense the measurement uncertainty was determined, applied to gauge blocks, and evaluated the result obtained through calculuses with the one provided for recommendation of INMETRO was evaluated. It was observed that the recommended values provided for INMETRO can be used since that, the differences related to the determined expressions, are small
