RESUMO

This work presents as study object the rock art of the BoqueirÃo do Brejo de Dentro in the Sobradinho Archeological Area, district of Sento SÃ, BA. It is characterized by identifying patterns of graphic presentation, starting from a sample of recurrent rock paintings, in order to contribute in the establishment of a graphic identity for the approached area. In this analysis, opted for the segregation of graphic units, defined for his hermetic character and delimitation needs, attributing nested analytical categories, based on attributes scenographic and in the relationship with the space in which they are inserted. Such relationships converge for the identification of appeals and to verify the standardization possibility in the behavior of the sample. Consequently, the constitution of a hypothetical graphic profile for the area in study, it corroborated for the proof of the hypothesis that you/they would be rock paintings of a same cultural group, still considering the existence of paintings with the same characteristics morphologic and scenographic in the area of Vale do Rio PeruaÃu/MG
