RESUMO

This work aims to reflect about stuttering, more particularly child stuttering. The initial goal is to interrogate a theoretical-clinic model that stands stuttering because of a linguistic processing problem and of an articulatory difficulty in the accomplishment of a specific phoneme group; after that, it is carried out the hypothesis on the formation of this symptom in the child speech. In this way, the dialog with interacionism in language acquisition was used and its effect in the studies on language clinic, as well as an approach with psychoanalysis. Along with these corresponding authors, there was the search of arguments to think about the incidence of the other s speech in the relation between body and language. This theoretical articulation allowed thinking about the child speech with stuttering and discussing some speech data of a 2:10 child, in clinical treatment with this investigator. Such data offered evidences to question the hypotheses that suppose a privileged locus of stuttering occurrences in the speech chain. The conceptions that use the same descriptive categories of adult altered speech for the characterization of the child speech with stuttering were troubled from language clinics theories. There was an attempt to approach the subjective constitution and the process of the child entry in the symbolic, as well as the process of language acquisition and the typical changes in childhood, in which the language effects are observed on the child body. The child speech that presents stuttering was put in question and the main point was established around the concern that the stuttering symptom causes in the other and in the subject him/herself: a particular way of enlacing in and by language - the subjectlanguage and speech relation. There was mainly a dialogue with Fontaine s reflections (2002) in his text "The significant implantation in the body". That made possible to weave an investigation that implicates the body from his relation with the significant. Thus, the child stuttering was boarded taking into account the body and language interlacement
