RESUMO

The evapotranspiration (ET), from the agrometeorological point of view, is very important. It indicates the loss of water by vegetation and the surface. It is a fundamental parameter in water management in various sectors of engineering, agronomy, hydrology, etc. Currently, the standard method recommended for estimating the reference evapotranspiration (ETo), in different locations and climates, is the Penman- Monteith FAO 1998 (FAO-PM). This method seeks to simulate the physical process of evapotranspiration and needs data from solar radiation, air humidity, temperature and wind speed, from automatic or conventional climatological stations. In order to simplify the daily ETo estimates, it was proposed to use the maximum and minimum temperatures as input data properly calibrated and tested. It was studied 12 location in the state of in Minas Gerais, with meteorological data provided by INMET for the year of 2007. To estimate the solar radiation on the surface, the Bristow and Campbell (1984), Donatelli and Campbell (1998) and Donatelli and Bellochi (2001) models we used. To estimate the vapor pressure deficit, the DELGADO (2007), DPV-1 equation was adapted. The best model to estimate the radiation, based on fuzzy logic was the Donatelli-Bellochi (DB) with 58% of the locations evaluated, followed by Campbell-Donatello (CD) with 34% and Bristow-Campbell (BC) with 8%. The estimation of evapotranspiration showed satisfactory results, with r over 0.85 and d index over 0.90.
