Razão de sacrifício em países emergentes e em desenvolvimento

RESUMO

The sacrifice ratio is calculated with the purpose of estimating a model through Ordinary Least Squares (OLS), in which both sample selection and high income economies are controlled, in order to test whether sacrifice ratios of emerging and depeloping economies is affected by velocity of desinflation, by the fact of a country being an inflation targeter and high income and by exchange rate variation. The resultsof the estimation show that the sacrifice ratio is decreasing in the velocity of desinflation and real exchange rate variation and increasing in the fact of a country being a high income economy, but it is not affected whether a country adopt inflation targeting.
