RESUMO

Nowadays there is an expressive increase of the use of groundwaters because of the lower cost for treatment, distribution and, mainly the scarcity of hydrous resources. Over the years 40 tubular wells were drilled to supply provide about 17.000 people, who circulate at UFSM Campus, according to data given from University Cityhall, only 20 wells are working, to provide average waste of 850m3/day of water taking for basis an average of 50 liters for person a day (NBR 7229/93). This supplying is all done for tubular wells and groundwaters are exploted by two kinds of rigs, through compressor or submerse pump. Like this, it was had the objective investigates the potability situation and readiness of the groundwaters in the Campus, through the collection and preparation of the database, analysis of the condition of operation of the wells, evaluation of the physiochemical and bacteriological quality of the waters of those wells, besides to investigate the available hydrodynamic parameters and to supply technical subsidize goes the granting of the resources groundwaters hydrous of the studied area. Identified that some wells present geological profiles of perforation and physiochemical and bacteriological analyses of the waters accomplished with some frequency. And the waters plows in agreement with the hidro-sanitary demands and with the established norms goes human consumption (OMS and it would Carry n518/04). Later, with the software Surfer 8.0 the space distribution of the altitude was acted, depth, static level and flows of the wells, besides the net of flow of the groundwaters. Still the geological map, profiles lithological was elaborated and geological of the wells. It was simulated situations of word pumping in order to supply subsidize to the administration of the groundwaters in the Campus of UFSM. It was verified that there isnt a good control for piezometric levels, and according data of wellsstatics levels, according to its historic function, it was observed that they had lowered by the years and decrease of drainage. These results may be come from an increase of water consume or weather alterations, which change the capacity for reloading the aquifer, according to what was observed in the development of the weather hydric balance in the last five years. Aquifer System investigated is plain with wells depth oscillating between 51m and 128m and it belongs to Paranás Basin, belonging to Guarani Aquifer System.
