RESUMO

The present study is an approach of the Quality of Life of burned patients hospitalized in a Center of Treatment Burned. The research instrument chosen it was SF-36 Medical Outcomes Shorts-form Helth Survey, for being a questionnaire of generic evaluation of health, with easy administration and understanding. The objective of this study was to verify which the domains of Quality of Life of those patient were more committed or preserved, during the hospitalization. For the quantitative of the 15 interned patients, was chosen a descriptive-analytic statistics, where the sampling represented the 100% of the universe to be studied. The results pointed the domains Physical Aspect, Emotional Aspect and Pain as the more committed during the hospitalization. On the other hand, the domains that came as more preserved were: Vitality, Mental Health and General State of Health. Same being in physical conditions of great pain and limitation of movements, the individuals tended showing optimist, confident in the own recovery and demonstrating a good perception of patterns of Quality of Life.
