RESUMO

The problem addressed in this work is a reflection of the lack of legislation in the public services regarding the safety and health of workers, because unlike the workers governed by the CLT, the statutory suffer with the absence of specific laws that serve to improve the working environments. Despite this gap, intervene is important, not wait for changes in legislation to provide improvements to public service in order that the attacks of environmental agents can interfere with the health and performance of the functions of the civil servants and consequently on productivity due to dismissals at work. In the institution, DETRAN/AL, the civil servants practice activities in unsafe conditions, exposing themselves to inherent risks of accidents, there is no awareness of the damage to their health. With focus on these harmful agents, it will be inspected the work environments of the institution, with the goal of identifying and evaluating these agents and adopt corrective measures that put at risk the health and safety of the officials. And propose to the General Direction of DETRAN/AL a set of measures and actions in the security of work, to minimize of eliminate the risks of accident and occupational diseases exposed to their civil servants. The preventive will be adjusted and defined on documents, establishing tasks per person and section of the institution at the subject that refers and is up to each one
