RESUMO
The purpose of this study was to develop a work on necropsy of oral cavity, using sixteen cadavers observed by students of Graduate School on Legal Dentistry in the Dental School of Piracicaba. - University of Campinas - UNICAMP. Suggest a new protocol of necropsy and utilization of a kit with basic instruments for realization of ali procedures, including a Gicle saw. This new technic, consist on seven different phases: a) description of general characteristics b) demarcation c) incision d) striking and desinsertion e) enucleation of superior and inferior maxillary f) reconstitution and suture g) execution of dental card and conditioning of superior and inferior maxillary set. After the remotion of superior and inferior maxillary set, the tissues are put back in their anatomic position, in perfect harmony. Priority in the recotlstitution of the face and cervical portions, preserving the esthetic integrity of cadaver. Removed the superior and inferior maxillary set from the cadaver, this is conditioned in thermoplastic box, hermetically closed, in formaldehyde solution 5%>, fixing the dental card previous written of referred cadaver, enclosing,. ali the elements for an absolute identification of referred cadaver.
