RESUMO

This work presents an alternative solution of a software for videoconference multipoint distributed implemented in a cliente/server architecture and Windows platform. The resultant process can be considered as source of consultation for attainment of knowledge the respect of this technology and has supported the companies and entities that have interest in implanting a solution of this nature. One searches in this work to rescue a little videoconferences history and its evolution until the current days. The work Is initiated with a narrative that approaches the event in which occurred the first videoconference public evolving until the present. Later the protocols are described that compose the family of protocols supported for the videoconference technologies
