Proposição de uma estrutura referencial para tratamento de não conformidades em componentes produtivos do setor automotivo

RESUMO

Quality has deeply evolved in the last decades and organization focus on understanding and achieve its requirements. Even though products running under process control, programs like zero defect, TQC, Six Sigma and Lean manufacturing support the quality evolution, nonconformance products arrive in automotive industry or final customer. When it happens, interim and corrective action are requested to the suppliers through the 7D or 8D report. Considering 03 hypotheses (H1 there are difference among items considered important by suppliers when filling up a 7D or 8D report and those they actually use to analyze the non conformance in their own model; H2 the repetitive issue is related to the failure in methodology applied to eliminate the non conformance; H3 there are repetitive issues common to 50% of suppliers or more), a survey were performed including 23 Brazilian suppliers who supply directly to automotive industry. The survey includes: own 7D report, data from repetitive and non repetitive issues and also a questionnaire to determine the importance given to several items when filling out the 7 D report. The data analysis confirmed three Hypotheses. From these results, a referential structure for automotive industry were developed to non conformance treatment, including: non-conformance identification, interim action, root cause analysis, corrective action implementation, efficiency corrective action verification, corrective action extension, lessons learned and critical analysis. The emphasis on using pokayoke devices for OFSD scenario (occurrence frequency severe detection) equal or over 72, deployment for each step on the report, customer approval on implemented corrective action and critical analysis by a third person has the purpose to minimize the occurrence and recurrence of non-conformance. Limits for the survey and items for future research are also mentioned.
