RESUMO

This work aims at the project and implementation of a bandgap voltage reference source in CMOS technology. It presents a summary of commonly adopted bandgap circuits, as well as a discussion over their features. This text is divided in 6 chapters, the first one being an introduction of the concept of a bandgap circuit. The second chapter is an overview of the proposed circuit. In the third chapter, an analysis of possible errors in the system is done and ways to minimize them are shown. The fourth chapter is dedicated to describe the process of implementation of the adopted structure.In the fifth chapter we show the obtained results, by simulation and by practicalexperiences with the circuits that have been made. The conclusions obtained from these dataforms the sixth and last chapter.
