Processamento adaptativo para cancelamento da interferencia de polarização cruzada em sistemas radio digitais

RESUMO

A interesting approach to improve the spectral efficiency of a digital radio system is the utilization the frequency reuse technique. However due to of the propagation impairments, there exist mutual interference between these two orthogonal channels, known as cross polarization interference. This work studies the interference cancellation by means of adaptive processing techniques. Firstly, we show that this problem can be modelled as a particular case of systems identification and, based on this principle, we apply the adaptive procedures. Secondly, we analyse the interference cancellation jointly with the channel equalization. Our objective is to present the different possible structures for the coupling between the canceling device (XPIC) and the equalizer.Finally, simulations results concerning evaluation of the differents structures are presented, aiming to compare the performance taking into account the principal parameters involved in a digital radio system with frequency reuse
