RESUMO

The present work had as intention to examine the applicability of hybridization of techniques of Constraint Programming and Metaheurístics in the exploration of spaces of solutions of combinatorial problems. For this, was done a research about the trends and applications of hybrid procedures in the literature. Based in this research, strategies of hybridization are presented for the problem of forest planning. An optimization environment capable to generate viable solutions and research for better solutions was explored. As the forest manager faces in his routine situations not catched by the model, the presented hybrid procedures must be seen only as auxiliary tools in the complex process of decision taking.
