RESUMO

This thesis makes a social history of the organizational process of rural syndical movement in Brazil, with analytical focus in the Zona da Mata of Pernambuco. It has as objective to understand the instituting process of social and syndical rural movements in the region, and its historical formation, organization and consolidation, between 1950 and 1974. In this direction, he looked for to apprehend the dynamics of the social and political nets, that made to appear a new process in Brazil from the 1950, where rural workers, as new actors, enter in the scene politics in search of citizenship and social inclusion; and the dynamic of the left parties interested and engaged in the practical organizational of rural man and its relations with institutional forces of the State and the Church. In the end, this study argues the practical instituting process for inside and outside of rural syndical organization in Brazil and, mainly, in the mata pernambucana, after-1964, and its relations with the Brazilian authoritarian state and the authoritarian experiences produced in this relation, with the ideological version of creation of a syndicate of associates.
