Por uma história do currículo no/do Colégio Maria Constança na década de 1960 : cultura docente, práticas e materiais curriculares

RESUMO

This paper aims to reconstruct a period, specifically in the 1960s, of the history in/of Maria Constança de Barros Machado School Maria Constança (MC) in Campo Grande-MS, by a cross - sectional study besides practice and curriculum material analysis, such as the expression of school culture. The seasonal cutting, the decade of 1960, was taken as it is related to the first law implementation of education nationally applied, LDBEN (Lei de Diretrizes e Bases da Education Nacional), Law 4024, which was approved in 1961. The methodology used in order to reach this reconstruction was a bibliographical and documental research. The former is based in theories from Chervel (1990); Bittencourt (1993); Forquin (1993); Gatti Junior (2004); Goodson (1997; 2003; 2005); Hamilton (1992); Julia (2001); Magalhães (2004); Pérez Gómez (2001); Sacristán (1995); Silva (2001); Soares (1996); Souza (1998; 2005); Viñao Frago (1995). The later, based in documental sources whose materiality is found the history of the school curriculum: meeting reports, resolutions, school board decisions, among others filed in a four-book volume, besides the didatic books adopted by the school. At the end of the present study was possible to reach indicating elements that Maria Constança school culture valued the knowledge considered classic, which was concerned to prepare students to pursue higher levels of education. The school also was highlighted by its good results from its sudents and teachers.
