Políticas públicas e desenvolvimento turístico regional na Região de Blumenau, SC: perspectivas e desafios sociais para a sustentabilidade

RESUMO

The regional tourist development is a form of promoting the tourist potential of the Blumenau region, enlarging and diversifying the attractiveness and the tourist offer, as well as, attracting larger tourist demand. This development needs to be organized for not committing the whole region, especially the involved subjects and affected for the tourist activity. For that, it is done necessary the elaboration and implementation of specific public politics, that can result in the ordination of the actions of a regionalized tourist development and, that at the same time, light in bill the sustainability in the social dimension. Before this context, this study aimed at to analyze the public politics that promote the tourism development in the municipal districts of Blumenau, Gaspar and Pomerode, inserted in the Blumenau region (SC), approaching the perspectives and the challenges of the regionalization and of the social sustainability, with focus in the involved subjects (visitors and visited) with the sector. For so much, the used methodology was the qualitative research, aided by the techniques of analytical and descriptive research. The instruments of collection of data were the informal interview and the structured interview, applied in the 14 actors/ representatives of the researched public organizations. Besides, was accomplished the analysis of documents, that contemplated laws, plans and projects. The data analysis was accomplished with the qualitative discussion of the obtained data. The results of this analysis present a scenery of discussions, political adaptations and few effective movements. They are rare the public politics that approach the tourism regionalization and the social sustainability, with focus in the valorization of the involved subjects with the activity. In spite of the interviewees to recognize the importance of the definition of public politics, returned the this purpose, there are still few effective actions. For the definition of those public politics it is indispensable, to understand and to adapt to this process, as well as, a collective effort among the municipal districts
