Políticas e gestão pública educacional em Riachão do Jacuípe, Bahia, Brasil: a elevação do Índice de Desenvolvimento da Educação Básica - IDEB

RESUMO

The research identified important variables involved and to the elevation of the index of Basic Education Development (IDEB) of a public school elementary school I Riachão Jacuípe in Bahia State, Brazil. The course methodology was a descriptive case study of qualitative character. The date were collected through questionnaire and interviews with 12 subjects with 11 moderately and documentary analysis. The survey was conducted in 2011. The analysis indicates that the data were carried out political, pedagogical and administrative network aimed at local public elementary school and in the school case study. The changes contributed to various aspects such as the valuation of professorship through access to higher education, continuing education for professionals in education through training courses, a partnership between school, parents, and community respondents, Pedagogical Political Project (PPP) of school studied, with better pay increase of 13% above the minimum wage, funds received from federal government, construction of more classrooms and school maintenance structural studied and ensure the commitment of teachers in most schools in the two study with improved educational quality. These actions, according to informants and accurate analysis of the documents examined (PPP school, Municipal Education Plan (PME, 481/2005), Units of the Regiment Unified School City of Books and Records in enrolment, school attendance and performance, 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008 and 2009) were decisive for the indication of a continued growth in the media in the years IDEB 2007 and 2009 compared with IDEB of 2005, which was 2.6. In 2007, the average achieved by the IDEB school case study was designed and the average was 3.4, while the projected average was 2.7. In 2009, the media IDEB obtained by this school was 3.6, while the projected average was 3.0.
