RESUMO

A novel metaloporphyrin with ruthenium complexes, {H2-TPyP[RuCl(dppb)(Xbipy)] 4}(PF6)4 and {M-TPyP[RuCl(dppb)(X-bipy)]4}(PF6)4, (where M = Mn(III), Co(II) and Zn(II), X = Me- MeO- and Cl-) has been synthesized and structurally characterized by 31P{1H} magnetic resonance, UV-Vis and IR spectroscopy, cyclic voltammetry and CHN. The catalytic activity of {Mn-TPyP[RuCl(dppb)(Me-bipy)]4}(PF6)5, {Mn- TPyP[RuCl(dppb)(MeO-bipy)]4}(PF6)5 and {Mn-TPyP[RuCl(dppb)(Cl-bipy)]4}(PF6)5, in the oxidation of cyclohexene and cyclohexane by iodosylbenzene (PhIO) was evaluated and the results showed a selective evidence of cyclohexan-ol formation. The {Co- TPyP[RuCl(dppb)(Me-bipy)]4}(BF4)4 properties were exploited in Langmuir-Blodgett (LB), dip-coating, spin-coating and casting films to compare among them and use as sensors to make modified electrodes, and then to detect dopamine in solution. The response showed a sensitive and selective sensor to dopamine detection. A preliminary study of the Zn-TPyP, showed a fluorescence emission and then, using as optic limiting. The intention is to proceed with compounds study of the type {Zn-TPyP[RuCl(dppb)(Xbipy)] 4}(PF6)4 and evaluate the redox potential and electronic behaviour when change groups withdraw and donor electrons on bipyridine ligands.
