Perfil dos profissionais de enfermagem com formação em nível de ensino médio e atuantes nas unidades hospitalares do município de Cacoal-RO

RESUMO

ABSTRACT This study planned to analyze the professional profile of Cacoal hospital units secondary education professionals (technical and nursing helpers) facing the difficulties and satisfaction in the development of the professional activities, once it is known that they perform complex nature actions. Their routine activities, as well as facilities and work difficulties have been identified. Collected data through a questionnaire addressed to 96 nursing professionals were encoded, digitized, tabulated in form of Windows Excel database, and analyzed by the program Statistical Package for the Social Science (SPSS) version 10.0 for Windows". It was verified, among the respondents, a predominance of 85,4% for the female sex, 58,9% aged between 31 to 45 years, 46,3% married, 79,2% with secondary education, 54,2% of nursing helpers, 63,8% of public members of staff, 62,5% in good time of service to 10 years and 78,9% without another job. Regarding the sector of action, 76% work with hospitalized patients, 50% in the urgency, 32,3% in the surgical center and stock center, 9,4% in the nursery and 13,5% reported that beyond those activities, also develop others as, for example, pharmacy, laboratory and outpatient clinic. From all difficulties found for develop their activities, the lack of resources was the most frequent, being present in 75% of the interviewed. Regarding work satisfaction, 71,9% reported to need more training, improvement in the salary and conditions of work. 60,4% needed more human resources, 56,3% wanted their work to be better acknowledged and 40,6% believed that their satisfaction in the development of activities will thoroughly improve if there is a reduction of the workload and the development of activities of their competence The inquiry enabled to know characteristics of the profile of the population studied, beyond evaluate, indirectly, the health service granted to Cacoal/RO population.
