For to indicate in your fiction and literary criticism, the mechanisms utilize by the ideology of your age for to limit the feminine participation in the society, Lima Barreto offers a corpus very rich for the analysis of woman in the Brazilian Belle Ãpoque. Through of the yours feminine characters is possible to verify the attributions destined for the women that, in this historical context, had an subordinate status in nearly all the societiesâ sectors.
