RESUMO

This dissertation is a preliminary study of three Rural Familiar Houses of Tucuruí, Cametá and Igarapé-Miri, municipalities located in the Eastern Amazon in Pará State. The Rural Familiar Houses are autonomous institutions experiences - non governmental - of rural education managed by groups of agriculturist families. The first part of this dissertation cites a historical context of socio-environmental conflicts where had emerged the first educative experiences in the region and the educational pedagogy characterization adopted by the studied institutions. The second one refers to cultural peculiarities that characterize the relation human-nature of agriculturist families directly attached to the Rural Familiar Houses. The perceptions described here had been systemized from life experiences carried through in the period of 2006 and 2007 with agriculturist families from the specified locations. This is an attempt to mention part of the complex walk of futurist agricultural workers, therefore, constructors and keepers of the Rural Familiar Houses: an autonomous experience of collective construction of the present and a projection of the future; place of conflicts, dialogues and access to new technologies and to traditional knowledge by a specific pedagogy.
