RESUMO

The pollen grains of 73 native species of Leguminosae from the Biological Reserve of the Fontes do Ipiranga State Park, city of São Paulo, Brazil, are studied here. The species belong to the three subfamilies: Caesalpinioideae (13 species), Mimsoidae (13 species) and Papilionoideae (47 species). Of the three subfamilies, only the Mimosoideae display compound pollen grains. The three tribes in Mimosoideae (Acacieae, Ingeae, Mimoseae) display pollen grains in poliads, while tetrads occur only in the Mimosae ...
