RESUMO

This research started when the Guarani Nhandewa group inhabiting Native Land Ywy Porã, municipality of Santa Amélia PR Brazil demanded a series of activities that would enhance the community?s traditional culture. Índios na visão dos índios ? T.I.Ywy Porã ? Povo Guarani Nhandewa, comprising pictures and reports, was published with their participation and revealed the relevance of the Land without Wickedness myth. The second part of current investigation occurred through an inter-semiotic approach, based on Greimas?s work, on a corpus of sketches and narratives related to the Land without Wickedness. Sketches were undertaken by Guarani Nhandewa children and non-indigenous children resident in Maringá PR Brazil. Analyses that involved several areas of knowledge, such as discourse, anthropology, communication and arts, were employed to investigate the manner meaning of sketches and narratives was built. Research associates the listing of isotopes through lexical fields or meaning pathways, according to Loredana Límoli?s and Izidoro Blikstein?s approach, to analyses of the plastic and iconic messages. This is consistent with the semi-symbolism relationships between the expression and the content planes, following studies by Antonio Vicente Pietroforte.
