RESUMO

This view the increasingly dynamic information in digitalmedia, encouraged by free and open files which, arranged in repositories, seem the possibility of bringing together, disseminate and make available scientific information. In this context, these information are alternatives to traditional mechanisms of communication, but coming up on the problems caused by the large universe of information available: the difficulty to organize it consistently to facilitate its recovery. From these considerations, this study talks about elements of the Information Architecture (IA) and physical description of procedures and issues that may contribute to the organization of documents stored in digital repositories institutional.
