RESUMO

Wild marjoran (Origanum vulgare L.) (Lamiaceae) is a spices and medicinal plant very used in culinary art, food industry, phytotherapic, insecticide and bactericide agent. This work aimed to study sources and doses of organic manure, quality and quantity of light in growth plants, physiologic and anatomic characteristics and essential oil quality of wild marjoran cultivated in culture protected. It was carry out 3 (three) experiments: the first trial was aiming to study the organic manure in levels 0.0; 3.0; 6.0; 9.0 and 12.0 kg m2 for cattle and 0.0; 1.5; 3.0; 4.5 e 6.0 kg m2 for chicken. The second trial aimed to study the color shade black, red and blue chromatinet and to compare with full sunlight (control). The third trial aimed to study the effect of light quantity (irradiance) through the thermal screens and to compare with full sunlight (control). It was observed significative effect of organic manure in dry biomass plants, in growth characteristics as AF (foliar area), SFA (specific foliar area), RFW (ratio of foliar weight), RFA (ratio of foliar area), R/AP (ratio root/aerial part), chlorophyll content, anatomic characteristics, content and yield of essential oil. The trans-sabinene hydrate and thymol were majority composts. In second trial was observed significative effect of the color shade nets in growth plants, yield and quality of wild marjoran essential oil. The color shade nets were not influenced total dry biomass and foliar area, but the full sunlight decreases this variables. The chlorophyll content, stomata density and tissue thick were influenced by environment, but the carotenoids content was not regulated by light quality. In third experiment was observed that full sunlight increased total, root and inflorescence dry biomass. High content and yield essential oil were obtained from plants leaves under 60% and full sunlight. Only the terpinen-4-ol compost was influenced by irradiance. Crescent irradiance levels were not regulated the total chlorophyll content, but the carotenoids levels was influenced by irradiance. The anatomic characteristic also was influenced by irradiance.
