RESUMO

This work reports the experience of a brazilian graduate during the months she stayed as a professional-student in the Experimental School of. Bonneuil, founded by Maud Mannoni, at Bonneuil-sur-Marne, France. This school in Bonneuil hosts children and adolescents with severe mental disorders and its main purpose is to create an ambiance where the "madness" of each of its tenants can be freely lived. Nevertheless, the testimony of the professional-student - as an actual object living within the "maddening" environment of Bonneuil- brings a new lights to this experience since, as she narrates her internship there, a lot of subjective questions and objective facts arise, connected to the setting suggested by the school. The ideas of D. W. Winnicott, concerning the constitution of the self-beginning in the relationship with the other, are a theoretical background for this work. The focus here is the subjective exchanges (exchanges between the , worlds) that mar happen between the professional-student and the child. The professional-student is the bridge that will make possible to the child - immersed as he is in bis subjective world - the access to the domains of the objective reality. In the other hand, the child gives the professional-student an opportunity to be in contact with some aspects of her own self, brought to light - by someone else s "madness". Therefore, the Experimental School of Bonneuil proposes a space where the subjectivation and inter-subjectivity may happen in a transformative way not only to the child but to the professional-student as well
