RESUMO

The tourism can be analysed to several perspectives and vision because the elements complexity that be connected with moviment, to make use of services, consumption of goods and equipaments, and others. In virtue of this variety, the tourisms definition is presented ample diversity, differentiating itself of the too much sectors of production. The tourism is an important social, cultural, anbient and economic element in communitys life. The city of Nova Trento in Santa Catarina is characterized by its history of the settling with immigrants trentino-Italians. Its population is identified by the strong preservation of the uses and customs demonstrated in the religiosidade, musical and artistic traditions and in the gastronomia. Beyond the cultural importance, Nova Trento was scenes part of the life and workmanship of Santa Paulina do Coração Agonizante de Jesus, contributing for the fortification of the catarinense religious tourism. The tourist development provide consequences modifications in the regions, and therefore it became indispensable the analyze of partner-cultural, economic and ambient transformations generated by the tourism in New Trento. The vision of the city inside of a historical and geographic perspective, the verification and analysis of origin of the religious tourism in the city and of tourist attractives had been important moments in the research. There were also the necessity to analyze the process of settling in the city and the state and the bibliographical revision of the tourism and the religious tourism, culture and religion and of the partner-cultural, economic and ambient transformations, and support process had been basic for the reach of the objectives. The research possesss quali-quantitative boarding and dialect method materialistic description. It is exploration and one presents as case study, needing the application of interviews and questionnaires. The data had been gotten in the City hall, in the enterprise and together way to the traditional inhabitants of Nova Trento.
