This Ph.D. thesis presents and analyzes the revolutionary syndicalism, one of the tendencies in the variegated political context of the XXth century beginning, and the circulation of ideas and practices between São Paulo and Italy, native country of the most part of the workers and militants who iived and worked in São Paulo during this period. This movement and the circulation of syndicalist ideas and practices had been studied, in this thesis, focusing the lives of three italian militants who operated in São Paulo at the beginning of the XXth century: Alceste De Ambris, Giulio Sorelli and Edmondo Rossoni, whose lives were strictly connected to the debates and the experiences of the revolutionary syndicalism. Moreover, the study of these syndicalist leaders allowed to understand the importance of immigration in the construction of the revolutionary syndicalism as a transnational movement, and the relations of this political tendency with other ones: socialism, anarchism and fascism
