RESUMO

This case study analyses the process of bargain between, on one side, the Santo André major and the local agents (NGOs, political parties, social movements, etc.) and, on the other side, the RR Power Ventures. In 2000, this firm decided to construct a termo electric plant in that city and this stated a local process of bargain. This case could make suggestions about how negotiation policies might be modified to better effect.
