O projeto pedagógico da PUCPR (1999) : uma reflexão sobre a prática docente no curso de Letras Português/Inglês

RESUMO
This research project has as its main goal the analysis of the Guidelines of the Pedagogic Project of the Catholic University of Paraná PUCPR, which have been implemented in the undergraduate courses since 1999. The pedagogic practice of students and teachers is analyzed thus checking if the use of the English Language Learning Program takes into consideration the Guidelines of the Pedagogic Project of PUCPR and the innovative pedagogic practice. The subjects of the research consisted of the area directors, the adjunct directors, the teachers and the students of the Portuguese/English Language Course. The methodology used included the analysis of documents, interviews and questionnaires with open and closed questions. The reasons for this research were the changes caused by the implementation of the 9394/96 law, which introduced a reflective process in the Language Courses. The search for a reference in education is brought up by the problems society faces in different areas of knowledge. In this study it became clear that teachers and students have to act as community members and base their acts in their own knowledge.
