RESUMO

The elaborative process may be considered as one of the main stages of the psychotherapeutical clinic. In all of the schools of thought of the contemporary psychology which deal closely with the step which make up this process, either individual or group-family, the most diverse concepts and concerns related to the theme can be found. Thus, in this context, we could not be exempted from the plurality of concepts, which underlie the several schools of Human Sciences and, therefore, of the psychological knowledge. The fundamental factors for the satisfactory understanding and definition of this process of reconstruction of meanings would be sought by means of those conceptual diversities which, most of the times, are paradigmatic and apparently exclude one another. Hence, we do not intend to treat this discussion completely, nor do I intend to settle it down definitely. It would not be relevant assume which would be the ideal forms of reflection which would try to understand the meanders trailed by the patient in his/her elaboration and reconstruction process of his/her lifes dynamics, either. It is precisely because I understand the elaborative process drenched in a challenging complexity, we look for a cautious positioning devoid of a purely scientific arrogance, which is an heir of poor positivistic schemes. Therefore, my foremost intention is to expand and question the concept of elaboration from the contextual multi-dimensions and multi-sequences, features which occupy the epistemic center in the post-modern clinical practices, tending towards a transdisciplinary project. It is in this context that the main objectives of this thesis are founded. i. e., inserting the elaborative process in the dialogical and multifaceted recursivity of the psychothepeutical dynamics based on a post-modern epistemology, reflecting on the probable conceptual transgressions of the term elaboration, broadening its sense not only as a process which is performed in the artificiality of the clinics, but as an intrinsic process of the sensory-motor, affective and cognitive development. In this sense, mapping the comprehensive approximation of the elaborative process from the acceptance that human complexity can be better integrated as a psychosomic unit, suggesting a constructivist methodogy. It is of foremost importance to reflect upon some possibilities of redemption of the psychosomic unit. The understanding of the factors which lead to the sickening of this unit must be revaluated from the procedures which are coherent with clinical practices inspired by the values of a post-modern epistemology
