O processo de inteligência competitiva : uma avaliação da sua utilização nas empresas exportadoras cearenses

RESUMO

The national moment is marked by the exportation development and the trade balance superavit is due to that. The companies that intend to internationalize lack tools to help in the decision support. The competitive intelligence (CI) it appears then, as a process that obtain information through an environmental scanning (ES) to supply this lack. In this context, this work has the objective of evaluating his use for the Cearás exporters organizations (CEO) to know in that level is the process of CI. The approached methodology is the study multi-case composed by three relevant CEO, it took place an exploratory-qualitative research. The evidence sources were: semi-structured questionnaires, interviews, direct observation and external or internal documents to the organizations. Six categories were used in the evaluation of the level of his use: the planning process and evaluation of CI, the gather, the analysis and communication of the information, cultural questions of CI, the process of CI and the context of the organization. The results indicate that CI in CEO is already a reality, but in an informal apprenticeship, although a process of creation of a formalized model is appearing and that it will be described here in the case studies.
