RESUMO

Recent works on the Language Acquisition field have vindicated the need for a research turned to the subject I language s particular aspects. With this in mind we developped our reasoning, aiming to observe the emerging and development of individualization in the written texts during the school stage. We built our perspectives backed up by the style theory proposed by Possenti, on one hand, and some Textual Linguistics principies on the other hand, within Vygotsky s theoretical outline, to whom apprenticeship is the fundamental procedure for establishing one s individuality. As such, we proceeded to the analysis of the acquisition of writing (along a longitudinal perspective), of the same subject, through several stages of his life. This analysis was also benefited from the addition to it of data derived from São Paulo s school network. For that we took into consideration the "mediation" concept proposed by the vygotskian focus. We tried, hence, to introduce alternative ways to individualization along the writing language process of the learner
