RESUMO

Technological innovation by firms is now a requirement for them to remain in the highly competitive market, which caused the technological revolution. The process of industrial innovation has the interaction university / company, aiming to shorten the distance between academic production and the firms need, which occurs via research institutes. In that perspective, this work begins with the following question-problem: to what extent technological innovation broadcast by the Center of Support for Technological Development (CTD) of the University of Brasilia (UnB) aggregates, effectively, competitiveness for micro and small enterprises (MSEs)? Aiming for a response, as a general goal it was set up to identify, in the strategies developed by CTD/UnB, main aspects that are able to ensure continuity of innovative principles implemented so as to give, the MSEs, terms of competitiveness. To that end, a search of field and another documentary, and their results, demonstrated that the interaction CTD/University and company has been effective in practice, but that aspects relating to their crops still need to be overcome.
