RESUMO
The Brazilian crisis of the 80 ended a development cycle, which prevails in the country for more than thirty years, and begun a lot of important transformations in Brazilian economy. In the ninety begun a state reform and a commercial e financial liberalization, amplified and consolited for the Real plan. The aim of this paper is to evaluate the extension and the deeply of that transformation in the Brazilian economic policy, to verify in what extent this mean the basis of a new Economic model. The Real plan can survive without a peg currency? Which are the consequences of the IMF strategy for Brazil?
