RESUMO
This work has the purpose to present the winnicottian concept of psycho-somatic unity to analyze the place of the body in the human maturational process theory. Defining the concepts of mind, psyche-soma, and doing an examination on the development of psycho-somatic existence and its possible sickness. The study of the place of the body in Winnicotts theory will show the fundamental importance of real body experience as an important conquest in the maturational process.
