O INFOCENTRO NA UFJF E O CURSO DE PEDAGOGIA: CONSTRUINDO NOVOS SENTIDOS PARA A FORMAÇÃO INICIAL DE PROFESSORES?

RESUMO

This research has intended to comprehend how students form the Pedagogy Course are using the infocenters recently placed in Education, Communication, Economy/Business schools in the Federal University of Juiz de Fora and how this use has been reflected in their initial formation in reference to their learning process and in their teaching preparation. For that, it has been aimed theoretical/methodological fundamentation in the qualitative research of historical-cultural approach, with basis on the human development theory by Lev S. Vygotsky and in the enunciative languange theory by Mikhail Bakhtin. The methodological instruments selected to do pilot-study on this research were: observation of the infocenters in question, which involved a constante dialogue with the students there present; individual interviews with their managers; collective interviews with the scholarship students that work in them; and analysis of the official document when reflecting about the conceptual project on infocenters and its posterior implantation, comparing it with the observed reality. The Focal Reflexive Group was the instrument used with students from the course of Pedagogy in UFJF. The analysis of data has permitted the comprehension of several points in the theme studied: it brought to the top the initial process of infocenter implantation, working with its project and its reality; it revealed the meanings that the students attribute to the infocenter and to computer/internet, in the same way that it stablished the manner with which the teachers from this learning institution deal with these instruments in the process of initial formation of their students; it discussed in about the introduction of the computer/internet in Children and Basic Education Schools. Thus, in this work it has been discussed the need that those ones involved in this process, mainly students and teachers, become themselves conscious of the significance of what the computer/internet bring and the changes that the infocenter could offer to initial formation. To make this effective, it is necessary a better disclosure of the infocenter and some work that makes the reflection about the potentialities of these instruments possible
