RESUMO
Resumo Tendo em vista os escritos nietzschianos póstumos, redigidos entre os anos de 1872 e 73, o escopo deste artigo consiste em investigar o lugar e o papel do filosofo na cultura. Analisaremos em que medida Nietzsche pensou a natureza do trabalho filosófico e a complexa relação que a filosofia estabelece com a ciência e com a arte. No que diz respeito aos seus fins edificantes, a filosofia se afasta dos objetivos da ciência, qual seria a produção de conhecimento puro, e se aproxima da meta edificante da arte.Abstract In view of the posthumous Nietzschean writings, written between the years 1872 and 73, the scope of this paper is to investigate the place and function of philosopher in culture. We will analyze to what extent Nietzsche thought the nature of philosophical framework and the complex relation that philosophy establishes with science and with art. Regarding its edifying purposes, philosophy departs from the aims of science, which is the production of pure knowledge, and goes towards the uplifting goal of art.
