RESUMO

On this work, it is presented and evaluated some activities developed by two groups of students at the last level of high school in the field of plain geometry with different objectives. These activities were made into two directions: one using the theories developed by Balacheff (1987) and Polya (1978) by demonstrating and, on the other hand, considering the notion of the pedagogical contract, based on the ideas of Brousseau (1986). The aim of this research was to investigate procedures, actions of students in situations of learning with the objective to demonstrate and / or talk about and test possible inferences of the propositions of learning in the two groups. It could be observed similarities and differences between the two groups. Talking about participation, both are very similar. Students were allowed to talk about and discuss among them and with the teacher. The difference is shown by validation system and its use. The first demonstrations are used to validate its theories and the second the test mechanisms are, basically, the examples. This research aimed to present some contributions for the teaching of plain geometry, based on the development of Mathematics and in particular of geometry, is given by means of global process of statements and refutations
