RESUMO

The metaphysical concept of God in Judaism and Christianity is a perspective that contemplates the Being of God in the philosophical debates that occurred between the 11 th. and 13 centuries. Two major personalities imprinted their names on the intellectual world: for Judaism Maimonide and Saint for Christianity Saint Thomas. Maimonide spoke of the Being God from a negative predication followed by positive predication of Being of God development of his doctrine of God. They face space each other in a intellectual debate at Paris University in the 13 century. Maimonide and Thomas developed the foundation for Juwish and Christians dialogue on equal terms there fore giving scientific credibility for the intellectuals the time period.
