RESUMO

This work proposes research on the process of intertextuality in the book Aquela Canção: 12 Contos para 12 Músicas, (Publifolha, 2005). It is a contemporary book; it brings a Compact Disc and presents twelve short stories, written by twelve renowned author of contemporary literature of the Portuguese language. Each author had a song of the Brazilian popular music of century XX as source of suggestion. The research presents the following steps: study of the book and CD; reflection on the connections between literature and music; investigation on the theory of intertextuality and analysis of the narratives. After the search, we hope show the intertextual relation of the twelve narratives with their sources of creation.
