RESUMO

Computational simulations in transient regimen had been carried through in order to study the partial oxidation for the synthesis gas production and attainment of methanol saw gas of synthesis in reactors of catalytic fixed bed. The considered dynamic mathematical models for the reactors had formed sets of partial distinguishing equations that had been solved through implemented numerical techniques in Software Matlab 6,5. Two of the simulated models had been directly resolved with the use of the method of finite differences explicit. While that the third model, have been discretizing by the method of the finite differences forming a system of not linear algebraic equations that was solved by the method of successive approaches. The results had been able to evidence details of the mechanism of partial oxidation that would be difficult of if verifying experimentally and are told in literature for being of great importance for the project of these reactors.
